When we think about change we tend to think BIG and often get overwhelmed before doing anything. Think about your thoughts and how you felt when you read the quote above. Was the first thought, “I could never throw away everything I am and start anew, I am not that strong” or something along those lines? Did it feel scary and overwhelming? What if I told you that being “willing to give up who you are” meant being willing to change one small thing today? What if it was that one thing was a habit you have struggled with and would rather be without? or doing one thing you always wanted to do? When you break things down into smaller pieces it seems a little less scary and overwhelming, right? So back to the quote, spend a minute and think – if you were willing to make one small move towards becoming all you can be, what would it be? And if you actually did it, think about how great that (and you) would be.
