Lose Weight and Get Fit

An 8 session program designed to jump start clients on the way to weight loss and physical activity. The program can be offered in 8 week (weekly meetings) or 16 week (8 bi-weekly meetings) duration. Each program offering is tailored to the needs of the group participants based on initial individual sessions to maximize results. Information and discussions on the following topics are planned but will be tailored as needed based on specific group needs

2. Eating plans and finding the best fit for you

3. Portions

4. Meal planning, shopping and food preparation

5. Time challenges and healthy choices

6. Shortcuts, cheats and hacks for healthier eating and calorie burning

7. Physical activity

  • Finding the best activities for you
  • Mini workouts and energy burning ideas

8. Keeping it going

This program may include rewards and incentives appropriate to the group such as prizes or fee refunds for winners of team challenges. The specific rewards and challenges will be decided on by participants at the start of the program.

 








Pregnancy and Postpartum Nutrition and Healthy Living

A flexible program covering various stages of pregnancy and postpartum designed to improve and maintain health and energy throughout. A rolling start program can be joined at any stage or continued throughout pregnancy and into motherhood. Additional modules and topics may be added based on client needs and interests.

1. First 3 months (1st trimester)

  • Eating healthy even when your body rebels
  • Being active when you’d rather be resting
  • Client choice

2. The honeymoon stage (2nd trimester)

  • Changing calorie and nutrition needs
  • Eating for two – when the other person is a growing peanut
  • Energy to burn

3. Getting to the finish line (3rd trimester)

  • Right nutrition for a cramped stomach and a rapidly growing baby
  • Getting to the finish line in shape for delivery…and the day after
  • Client choice

4. Welcome to mommy hood

  • Feeding yourself and your baby
  • Getting going and making healthy choices…with no sleep
  • Client choice

Each section (1 thru 4) includes 3 group sessions (1 every 3 weeks) and an individual coaching session.
